ADAM J. NEWAR

Adam J. Newar founded Eden Capital in 1996 and built a fund management company serving global investors, endowments, family offices, and high net worth individuals.  Starting his career at investment banking firm Dillon, Read & Co., then moving to private equity firm Orien Ventures, Adam has focused on private equity, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt portfolio management.

A native Houstonian, Adam holds a B.A. in economics and political science with distinction from Stanford University and an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School, of which he was chairman of the 1994 HBS Alumni Conference.  He has served as a director of Fiesta Mart, Inc., as well as charitable boards such as the Memorial Park Conservancy and Congregation Emanu El.

ROBERT B. ANTONOFF

Robert B. Antonoff has served as Eden Capital’s Research Director since joining in 1999.  Prior to Eden, Bob worked at investment banking firm Cureton & Co., which eventually merged with GulfStar Group, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and was closely involved with venture-stage companies.  He also worked at management consulting firm Booz-Allen & Hamilton advising clients on business issues such as asset valuation and competitive cost structures.  He began his career at Conoco and held a variety of strategic and planning positions in corporate and operating departments.

Bob holds a B.A. in economics from Yale and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, both degrees with honors.  He has served on numerous corporate boards, as well as charitable boards including Houston’s HSPVA Creative Writing Guild, the Texas Chamber Orchestra and Annunciation Orthodox School.
